Sergeant C. Combs

Sergeant Combs has served with the Raeford Police Department for four months. Prior to her current position she had been a Patrol Officer with the Fayetteville Police Department since 2004. During her time with the Fayetteville Police Department she earned the Life Saving Award, Individual Commendation award and functioned as the Domestic Violence liaison for her squad.

Prior to becoming a police officer, Sergeant Combs served in the United States Army and was stationed at the 57th Air Medical Evacuation Company as a helicopter mechanic/crew chief. She served a tour in Korea. Left active duty from the 498th Medical Company in Fort Benning Georgia in 2001. Sergeant Combs joined the Active Reserve in 2002 with the 982nd Signal Company (Combat Camera). Sergeant Combs earned her United States Citizenship in June of 2002.

Her military Service awards include; Army Commendation Medal with Oak leaf cluster, Army Achievement Medal with 2 Oak Leaf clusters, Army Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Expert Marksmanship Qualification badge with pistol, Marksman Qualification badge with rifle bar and Air Crewman badge, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development ribbon, Overseas service ribbon, and Army service ribbon.
